| EXPERTISE
Richard Schafer’s practice involves a broad range of intellectual property and technology issues, including all aspects of intellectual property protection, with a focus on computer hardware and software and other high-technology issues. He advises clients on ownership of patents, trademarks, copyrights and computer software; provides counsel on intellectual property portfolios, including what protection to seek and where; prepares and prosecutes patents, copyrights and trademarks; and provides counsel on licensing agreements.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Schafer supported campus-wide computing and networking for Rice University, and developed software for his own company. |
